Laboratories

A large part of DTU Sustain’s research is experimental and we host outstanding laboratory and test facilities that support our research, innovation, and teaching. Our facilities are available to the industry.

In 2023, DTU Sustain opens a new, state-of-the art four storeys laboratory building.

DTU Sustain’s laboratories support research, innovation and teaching in environmental and water technology, radioecology, construction materials, indoor environment, permafrost and geophysics.

Further, the department runs two ICOS stations in Denmark and Greenland, a part of the ICOS Atmosphere network that measures greenhouse gas concentration in the atmosphere.

Use our facilities

Our research facilities are available for the industry at commercially competitive prices. Contact our laboratory coordinator if you need facilities to test or develop new technologies and products.

DTU Sustains has local laboratories both on the Lyngby- and Risø Campus called Common Labs. DTU Sustain also has laboratories in the sections with special equipment for the research performed in the sections.
